Grace Trueblood, LMFT
Throughout my career, I have supported individuals and families experiencing a wide range of emotional challenges. I am a current member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT) and am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I received both my undergraduate and graduate degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, identity, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, stress management, trauma, and life transitions. I am passionate about creating a collaborative relationship to support and empower people to achieve their goals and strengthen their innate resilience.
Everyone’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to fit you. My style is interactive, experiential, and adaptable; guided by the following post graduate trainings/certifications: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I work with you and support you in finding a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. Using evidence-based strategies, we’ll focus on meaningful change—helping you respond to challenges in ways that align with your values, priorities, and overall well-being.
I am committed to helping you learn how to cope and grow from life’s obstacles in a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain valuable insights, and develop strategies for creating positive change.
In our first session, you’ll be met with warmth and curiosity. I intend to get to know you - your story, your hopes, your needs, and your goals - and for you to get a sense of how I work.
It takes courage to seek therapy, and I look forward to supporting you.
